Today on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler, well be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushion 6-Way Multi Hitch Ball Mount for 2 inch hitches, rated at 10,000 pounds, part number CAB-6W. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. Now since this ball mount has no drop or rise, if your vehicles hitch height matches your trailers ride height, this ball mount would be appropriate for you. Now with the ball mount on this position, you can access the 2-5/16 of an inch ball at the top. We can now rotate the ball mount to the left or to the right to access the either 1-7/8 inch ball or the 2 inch ball. Now if you flip it over toward the pin and at the top portion of the ball mount, you can see that once we remove this over clip, the pin cannot be removed from the ball mount. Therefore it can only be used at the bottom of the ball mount. more

Today on our 2003 Dodge Dakota we'll be test fitting the draw-tite ball mount with a 3/4-inch rise or 2-inch drop rated at 7,500 pounds, part number 2923. Before we begin our test fit, we will firstly obtain the hitch height of our vehicle which is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is 15-1/4 inches. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch and securing with the pin and clip. We'll then measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, and we'll get a measurement of about 12-3/4 inches. If your vehicle's hitch height matches our's and your trailer's ride height matches this measurement this should be an appropriate ball mount for you. We can now flip the ball mount over to the rise position and again measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, and we'll get a measurement of about 16 inches. Once again if your trailer's ride height matches this measurement, this would be an appropriate ball mount for you. Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier well be test fitting the Divirsi Tech self-locking adjustable aluminum ball mount part number DTALBM6600. Before I begin our test fit well first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle which is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is 17 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or after-market accessories. Well now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch. We can then turn the key to allow the integrated hitch pin to fall into place securing the ball mount to the vehicles hitch. We can now remove the key and adjust the ball mount platform to its lowest position. Unlocking the ball mount platform will also allow you to switch to the other size ball. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier we'll be test fitting the Convert-a-Ball cushioned six-way multi-hitch ball mount for 2-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number CAV-6W. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. You can rotate the ball mount to access three different size balls, an 1-7/8 inch ball, a 2-inch ball, and a 2-5/16 inch ball. You can also use this ball mount with a clevis, a lunette ring or a spade. You can pull the clip at the center of the shank and lift the pin up allowing you to hook up your trailer. Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier we'll be test fitting the Maxxtow adjustable height ball mount for 2-inch hitches with a 10-inch drop or 8-inch rise rated at 5,000 pounds, part number MT70067. Before we begin our test fit we'll firstly obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is 17-1/4 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll being our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. We can then remove the two pins here at the downward portion of the ball mount to adjust the ball mount platform to its lowest position. With the ball mount platform in its lowest position we can measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about 7-1/4 inches. We can now flip the ball mount over to the rise position and with the ball mount platform in its highest position we can again measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about 25-1/4 inches. Now, if your vehicle's hitch height matches our's, and your trailer's ride height is on or in between these two measurement in 1-inch increments, this should be an appropriate ball mount for you. We'll now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and securing it with a pin and clip. With the ball mount secured, we can then measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting a measurement of about 9 inches.
